A throwback to the IPAs of the 80's and 90's of the last century; malt driven and bitter.
The aroma starts off with toffee, dark bread crusts, milk chocolate, dried dates and hazelnut, followed by grapefruit peel and orange candy. In the flavour those same notes come through, along with rye bread, clove and a light smoke note. Medium in body, medium high in carbonation and medium in bitter. The spice and rye notes linger in the finish.
