A Berliner Weiss with cherry, raspberry and blueberry that drinks like a Kir Royale.
In the aroma the raspberry and cherry are easily recognized. Together with notes baking spices and orange rind it culminates into something reminiscent of glühwein.
In the flavour the berries mix together to become cassis, and a lemon like acidity joins the party. Medium light bodied, medium carbonation, no bitter and a slightly puckering tartness. The tannins from the berry skins linger in the finish along with the subtle spice notes.
Drink this with turkey dinner and omit the cranberry sauce.
