Fat Lizard Brewing Company Backdrop Porter

A very toasty American style Porter that could easily replace your morning coffee.

A bold, musty forest floor note dominates the aroma followed by milk chocolate, brewed coffee and a touch of smoke. The flavour is a little different with bitter chocolate, dark toast, caramel and more wet leaf coming through here. Light in body, medium low carbonation and medium to medium high bitter. A astringent note lingers in the finish but isn't unpleasant. Perfect for a crisp fall day.
