Spontaneously fermented and aged in oak on black currants and whole quince fruit. The nose brings an array of aromas including red currant, cherry sour candy, blackberry leaf and a very subtle hint of cinnamon. In the flavour the funk comes through as a light barnyard note, along with papaya, tart grapefruit and more currents. Soft, juicy and mildly puckering. Save this elegant ale for a special occasion.
