Grimm delivers once again with this vibrant New England style IPA.
Besides the usual tropical fruit and custard aromas this beer also has a herbal dankness and lemon zest, mandarin peel and a very subtle anise note in the nose. The flavour is dominated by the herbal and citrus pith like bitter and a perfumed lemon becomes apparent in the aftertaste. Medium-light bodied, medium to medium-low carbonation and a medium-high bitter along with a soft mouthfeel. The bitter pith stays with you for a minute or so in the finish, reminding you this is an IPA and not fruit juice.
