Well balanced Imperial Stout that displays all adjunct ingredients used.
Espresso bean, mocha, peat smoke, date, caramel, stewed plum, vanilla and a little hot alcohol in the aroma. Flavours include bitter chocolate, espresso, toast, vanilla, bitter, hot alcohol and a somewhat spicy finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a body that's a little thinner than most Imperial Stouts. The vanilla gives the illusion this beer is barrel aged.
