Boston Fern's complex hop bill bursts with notes of grapefruit, peach, apricot, pine and citrus tea!

As the earth slowly tilts out of the darkness, life springs back throughout our city. The bronze statues across our parks and greenways lose their winter austerity as the world around them fills with a spray of red buds; young leaves and first blossoms are offered to returning passengers.

Cambridge's parks fill with sun seekers, and the Charles comes to life, flush with sailboats and Harvard’s rowers. Traveling from our bird's-eye view across the river is a particular swath of green snaking through the city: the Back Bay Fens. This wooded area transformed the backflow of stagnant marshes into an idyllic “emerald necklace.”. Underneath the treetops, humbly stretching its arms in the dappled light, lies a stout little bouquet of swords, known as the Boston fern.

Boston Fern is a Double IPA jam-packed with hops. Pouring a hazy pale yellow, a kaleidoscope of hoppy aromas jump out of the glass. Citra pops with grapefruit and mango notes while Amarillo follows with sweet yellow peach. Simcoe’s apricot and pine notes beautifully complement Mosaic’s tropical papaya aroma. In addition to these favorites, MA-grown Cascade hops add to its dank undertones, while the newcomer Chaos finishes with notes of citrusy Ceylon tea.
