Orval's brewery, located within the Abbey, was founded in 1931. The commercial policy of the brewery is adapted to the values of the monastic community. The revenues of the brand are devoted to social welfare and the maintenance of the buildings. This Orval has a fresh, bitter-fruity taste with a sourish aftertaste. You can taste some notes of grapefruit and flowers. Flavours such as chicory, mango, rocket and dried apricots all go very well with this Orval.
