Christine Pieroth's family has been farming in Burg Layen since 1781. Under the Piri Naturel label she does things entirely her way — wild yeasts, no fining, no filtration, minimal sulphur. The Quince Perlwein is exactly what it sounds like: Riesling co-fermented with quinces foraged from around the village, bottled with a light natural sparkle. No additions, no shortcuts.

The quince gives it an aromatic depth that Riesling alone doesn't have. The Riesling keeps it fresh and precise. It works.
